A wedding. In Vail, Colorado. Set in the beautiful mountains? COUNT ME IN.
Every single second of this Vail wedding had a smile plastered on my face. From their laid back attitudes, to their contagious laughter, to their absolute love for adventure and each other, Katie and Josh are as real and genuine as it gets – and two true enthusiasts for life. My goofy prompts and suggestions weren’t necessary for their Vail wedding day, because these two were so tangled up and giggly with each other
Katie and Josh made this wedding so genuinely, them. The bride wore teal booties, and spent the morning slowly getting ready and stealing snuggles from her darling niece. The groom had a custom Inodchino suit, personalized inside with “FOREVER, I DO“. Their ceremony included a whiskey mixing and custom koozies for cocktail hour. However, the most important detail to them through out the entire day was clear – starting their next biggest adventure together, marriage.
They had a few other things that were very important to them for their Vail wedding – good food (mac ‘n cheese bar anyone?) from the Fitz and a DOUGHNUT wall from Northside Kitchen, good music (2 LIVE bands!), stunning views from Vail Manor Lodge, good brews like Hot Mess Blonde Ale from Vail Brewing Co., and of course, all of their damn good people in one place to, as Katie liked to put it, “do the damn thing“.
I will forever remember this magical wedding in the mountains and all of the tears and laughter that were shed for an unforgettable start to their best adventure yet.
