Conservatories are Always a YES

Couples – please keep the conservatories coming! If you’ve been following me for a while, you may know that the Garfield Park Conservatory is kind of my jam. And if you haven’t been following me, you can peak a few examples here, here, and here!

When Caileigh and Tyler told me they wanted to start their engagement session off at the Lincoln Park Conservatory I knew we were going to have one heck of a session.  This conservatory is a tad smaller than the Garfield Park Conservatory  but just as beautiful. In the dead of February, it can be challenging to find a good space to snap engagement pictures, but in Chicago we are so lucky to have beautiful indoor spaces to work with.  The Lincoln Park Conservatory was the perfect spot to tell Caileigh and Tyler’s love story.

Another lovely Olive Fine Weddings couple (you might remember my other Olive couple Chelsea and Drew), Caileigh and Tyler, are as genuine as it gets. This sweet couple met in San Diego where Caileigh is from. They both have a passion for traveling, being goofy together, and of course Notre Dame where they went to college! They started dating Junior year and have been inseparable ever since. I loved getting to see these two interact behind my lens. They both have such carefree and warm personalities and really bring out the best in each other.

No Raining on this Parade

After we sauntered around the Lincoln Park Conservatory we headed a few blocks away to Caileigh and Tyler’s condo and up to their private rooftop where Tyler proposed to Caileigh. He had bistro lights strung all over the place and her family was waiting for her after he popped the question.  It seemed perfectly fitting to capture the two of them in the place where they got engaged!

It was raining, it was cold, but these two were troopers and turned the rain into part of the fun. They danced, they swung each other around, and Tyler even threw Caileigh over his shoulder (apparently one of his favorite moves!). They fully embraced each and every drop and I feel as though the rain was the perfect addition to the perfect session!

I CANNOT wait to snap away as these two say I do at Motor Row in October!
