Intimate Chicago Rose Garden Elopement | Maggie & Kevin

Hidden away amongst the beaming Chicago sky scrapers, much like a secret garden, is the North Rose Garden. I met Kevin here on a beautiful crisp Fall day and picked a spot in the garden for his and Maggie’s intimate Chicago rose garden elopement. ⠀Cozy, earthy, and with beautiful roses everywhere you looked, I couldn’t imagine a more idyllic location to share a forever promise with your loved one.
⠀
The two were wed amongst the roses and their families. Just a handful of people in attendance, all with warmth and some with tears in their eyes. Maggie included the famous Office “wedding” dictionary quote in her vows [Webster’s dictionary defines wedding as “the fusing of two metals with a hot torch.” ] and couldn’t stop swishing her dress back and forth the entire night. Kevin’s killer outfit was from Sitch Fix  and he didn’t take his eyes off of his bride from the moment she tapped him on the shoulder for their first look. ⠀
⠀
Their ceremony started just as golden hour began, and we ended the celebration with a dip by Buckingham Fountain with the sun just starting to hide behind the buildings.
⠀
Like so many others, it wasn’t the original wedding plan, but oh my goodness was it a romantic and unforgettable. This intimate Chicago rose garden elopement was just everything. ⠀
