When Sam and Anthony met me at the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk, I could tell they were a tad nervous for their Chicago Lakefront engagement session. They were a bit quiet and like most of my couples said “we’re not photogenic”. It was all LIES! Five minutes into our session, I had them giggling and strutting their stuff and feeling like I wasn’t even there.
We played around the Lincoln Park area and walked our way through the park. I loved getting to catch up with them and learn more about their love story, as well as details about their big day in 2021. We stopped by the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pond and ended our session with the sun setting on the Chicago lakefront – it was majestic.
Anthony has this incredible gift of making Sam just light up. He had her laughing our entire session which I absolutely adored. Girls – find yourself a guy who can make you laugh, it is one of the best traits he can have! Sam melted right into Anthony the entire night and he couldn’t take his eyes off of his beautiful bride to be. And speaking of eyes – Sam had the dreamiest blue eyes I’ve ever seen. Bright and bold, which seemed to match her personality!
I had so much fun at this Chicago lakefront engagement session and can’t wait to celebrate these two as they say I do next October at the Aberdeen Manor in Valparaiso!
