The Chicago Riverwalk to Ourselves
These troopers met me downtown on a brisk Friday morning at 6AM for a little sunrise Chicago engagement session ✨ When asked if it was too early, they told me that’s what naps were for and I knew we were going to be a great fit!
Unfortunately, the sun didn’t get the memo and hid behind the clouds for most of our session. However, the blue palette that lit the city was surely not a disappointment. We had plenty of love, laugher, and warmth to brighten our morning, as we strolled along the Riverwalk with what seemed like the whole city to ourselves. Jacob and Sarah are pretty much as laid back as it gets (my kinda couple!). The only thing that was important to them during their engagement session was making each other laugh, and giggling their way through the prompts I threw at them.
Spring has Sprung
We decided to stop by the iconic Chicago Wrigley Building and upon turning the corner, my eyes lit up at the tulips in full bloom on Michigan avenue. It’s always so fun to see an explosion of color against the Chicago steel. I also think tulips are so playful and bright – just like Sarah and Jacob!
I absolutely adore getting to finally meet my couples in person- usually at our engagement sessions. I always get so giddy after meeting these awesome couples and have to pinch myself on my ride home that they picked ME to be a part of their big day. January 2020, with these two, at the Bridgeport Art Center, is sure to be an unforgettable way to kick off my 2020 season and the start of their new beginning as husband and wife!
