The most important part of a wedding day, is a couple so madly in love, and ready to say I do under any circumstances, which is just what Gabby and Jimmy did for their intimate Trump Hotel Chicago wedding.
Giddy. It’s the first word that comes to mind when I think of Gabby on her wedding day. From the way she slowly drifted down the aisle to her groom at St. Alphonsus Church, to quickly slipping the ring on his finger, as if to say “NO TAKE BACKS!”, to her little jumps of excitement on the alter, the grin and glow on her face walking back down the aisle with her HUSBAND, and the smile that was plastered on her face all day – Gabby was pure happiness. In fact, she kept saying “I’m just so happy, I just wanted to be married to you”. ⠀
I simply adore this couple and have since I met them at their Lake Michigan engagement session last August. They met at the University of Indiana in the College of Education and have been glued to each other ever since. Both High School teachers, Gabby is a cheerleading coach and Jimmy coaches football – a very all American kinda of couple.
⠀
Their plans of a bash at River Roast Chicago were unfortunately postponed due to Covid. This didn’t stop them from walking down the aisle and celebrating with an intimate dinner at Trump Hotel with their closest friends and family. It might not have been the exact day she and Jimmy had always dreamed of, but they embraced every single moment, even the rain droplets during portraits on the Chicago Riverwalk.
⠀
To one of the kindest, most beautiful, inside and out, couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, I couldn’t be more thrilled to have been one of the lucky few to be a part of your big day. Let’s do it again next March shall we? 😍⠀
