While weddings are really my jam and primary photography focus, I also absolutely love being able to capture #girlbosses doing their thing and making waves – which is exactly what Meg Daday is doing. Meg is a Chicago real estate agent for Keller Williams and is also an attorney (talk about a switch hitter).  When she’s not helping locals find the home of their dreams, she’s pushing local female owned businesses and fellow girl bosses to start talking…about money.

I was lucky enough to get to capture her latest “Smart Women & Wealth” series at the wonderful Ezza Nails. There was rosé, snacks, mini manicures, and plenty of empowering conversation. Meg is hosting these incredible educational networking events to change the way women chat about money, investing, real estate and everything in between.

The Ezza space was just plain awesome. We were surrounded by (the most adorable) decor inspired by strong ladies and also the Ezza motto – that both ladies behind that manicure table should feel empowered – an issue in the nail tech industry that no one seems to be talking about…or doing anything about, until Ezza.

Besides the great company of ladies, a highlight of the evening was the mini manicures set up for everyone (thanks Ezza!)! There’s just something about having your nails done that makes you feel, shall I say “polished” and ready to tackle whatever comes your way.

Feeling very grateful to have been a part of such a great event – one empowering women to keep moving forward, pushing for rights, and showing all that we’re capable of.
