Catching a moment when these two are not smiling or laughing is almost impossible. Gia and Quinn’s happiness is infectious, and their Osteria Via Stato wedding day was one I’ll never forget. For Gia and Quinn’s wedding day, we bopped around the city in a barrel bus and had a blast doing it! They got ready at Westin River North and did their first look on the balcony overlooking the Chicago River. The sun was shining for a little warmth on this picture-perfect October day. Then, the group headed out in the barrel trolley for a few more photos at Olive Park before exchanging the sweetest vows at Osteria Via Stato . After a cocktail hour held indoors and out with happy chatter, flowing drinks, and passed appetizers, the speeches were one the highlights of the evening. Gia’s Dad’s speech was so fantastic and so heartfelt. I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate a love like theirs!

One for the Books | Gia + Quinn’s Love Story

Every couple has a story, and Gia and Quinn connected over a shared passion:

“We met on Bumble and bonded over our love of running, the Cubs, and live music. Our first date was two nights before the Chicago Marathon that we were both running. We met up for a celebratory beer after the race and were inseparable after that.”

Moving in together is a huge step in any relationship. Taking that step a month before the world shuts down for a pandemic is on another level altogether. Needless to say, these two thrived and made their home together, deepening their relationship even more.

“We moved in together in January 2020, so COVID was a true test of our relationship. Quinn got super into fishing last year, as you’ll see on his IG. He’s wild, and I swear he had NO fish photos when we matched on Bumble.”

Like most couples after 2020, Gia and Quinn wanted their wedding day to feel like a party. Spending time celebrating with their nearest and dearest was their top priority.

“First and foremost, we just wanted our day to be FUN, especially after the craziness of the last two years. We thought Osteria would be a really unique venue and were excited to get all of our friends and family together. We booked an awesome band so we could just celebrate!”
