I am so unbelievably excited to be sharing this In Home Chicago Branding Session with Chicago real estate sweetheart and rockstar, Liz Jones of Keller Williams OneChicago. Yes, I love love, but I also love getting to capture and support entrepreneurs and small business owners who LOVE what they do! I have been so fortunate over the past 4 years to be able to work with some incredible folks from Keller Williams. I haven’t met a team member with a bad smile or a bad attitude over that time, and I feel so lucky that I keep getting the email, “Meg, we need some updated looks!”. I’ve even been lucky enough to capture one of their team members’ elopements (Hey Jim šŸ‘‹šŸ»).

This In Home Chicago Branding session was a special one, as Liz was being honored for quite the honor – Chicago Reader’s 2020 Best Real Estate Agent Award. She was in need of photos that were going to capture her essence as a real estate agent: approachable, warm, friendly, but also someone who gets the job done and makes the deal happen. Nervous at first for this In Home Chicago Branding Session, like almost every single one of my clients, Liz quickly opened up and let loose a little and we captured the most genuine smiles and get after it smirks. It was such a pleasure getting to meet this talented woman, learning more about her passion, and capturing her joy for such an incredible accomplishment.

Liz shared a bit about the award on her social media platforms that really sums up the honor and her dedication to her business:

” Some awards are given based on sales figures; others, like this one, are based on relationships and industry recognition, and so I am truly humbled. Especially after a year of so many ups & downs in the world. To everyone who showed support and voted for me, THANK YOU SO MUCH! (Seriously šŸ˜) My love for Real Estate began over 25 years ago, with our annual family trips to visit my grandparents in Naples, FL. The opulent, expansive and jaw-dropping homes captivated me, and every day before going to the beach, I would ask my parents if there were any Open Houses in the neighborhood that we could go toā€¦ (weird, right? A telling sign, I think!). I have to say thank you to my momĀ @elisaandlynnehomes, who took me to those Open Houses and has shown me the Real Estate ropes since she had me stuffing mailers in the ā€™90ā€™s! And to my husband, who has always encouraged me and held down the fort to make this last year possible. When you run your own business, itā€™s really hard to pat yourself on the back, as you always feel like you can be doing more. And because ā€˜promotionsā€™ arenā€™t how we are recognized in our industry, this award from my peers is the *utmost* compliment. I appreciate you all so much & cannot wait to live up to this prestigious honor in 2021 šŸ„‡ Thank you, thank you.”
