This Heritage Prairie Farm Wedding was an absolute dream.

Have you ever meet two people that are just so clearly meant to be together? You can feel it in the air when you’re around them. Well, that’s Jenny and Drew. Two of the kindest, welcoming, FUN, down to earth souls I have ever had the pleasure of not only calling clients, but friends (sorry guys, you’re stuck with me). ⁠⁠

From the moment I met Jenny, Drew, and their sweet pup, Poppy, at their engagement session in Long Grove, I instantly felt a connection to them. They are so bubbly and outgoing and we immediately hit it off. Stopping to play with Poppy after every pose was also a major highlight of our time together (#mustlovedogs). It felt like I was photographing two of my close friends at their wedding, my favorite way to capture someone’s big day.

My face hurt from smiling so much during this Heritage Prairie Farm wedding. Jenny and Drew high fived, danced, and giggled their way through a day that was so perfectly thought out and executed. ⁠

The vibe at Heritage Prairie Farm was Summer bash with your besties. It was a steamy 90 degrees with the sun as cheery as the wedding guests. Jenny and Drew were married amongst hundreds of twinkling lights with close friends and family. Of course, pup Poppy was their flower girl! They were greeted by a flower tunnel from all of their guests. There was a lemonade stand and champagne greeting, lawn games and a cigar bar, a divine farm to table dinner followed by an OPEN dance floor! It was one of those weddings where you could see how loved and cherished this couple really was.⁠⁠
