I feel as though lately every time I write a blog post about one of my adventurous Chicago engagement sessions, I comment that it was “my favorite session yet“. But. Guys. It’s TRUE, because they just keep getting better, and better.
I think a lot of this has to do with continuing to find fun locations in Chicago to explore, but it also has a lot to do with the fact that my couples are just plain awesome, and up for a good time. Alex + Daniel, were, of course, no exception.
These love birds met at a party going into the 9th grade and have had all the heart eyes for each other ever since. Alex is currently here in Chicago for graduate school and fell in love with the Garfield Park Conservatory. Since the two are both from Georgia, where Daniel currently lives, they decided an adventurous engagement session at one of Chicago’s hidden treasures was a must. I couldn’t have agreed more with them!
We adventured through 7 rooms of blooming, beautiful life, and captured plenty along the way. It was a hot one (because duh, we’re in a huge greenhouse), but I have to tell you, the plants weren’t the only factor contributing to the steamy windows. The love between Alex + Daniel seemed so effortless and natural. After 8.5 years of dating, they’re finally getting hitched and you could just sense the excitement in both of them.
