It was one of those August days where you can’t help but smile. The sun was shining, the people in Lincoln Park were so friendly, and these two lovely humans were getting married. ⁠⁠

We started the day at Hotel Lincoln where the nerves as well as excitement was high. Julia looked like an absolute dream in a dress that was simply made for her. Michael was beaming, his bright blue eyes full of joy. ⁠⁠

They held their intimate Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool Chicago Elopement ceremony right in front of the lily pond. Julia walked slowly through the greens with her Dad as John looked on, tears in his eyes. Guests at the ceremony included a snapping turtle, heron, and hundreds of excited fish. ⁠⁠

After they sealed their marriage with a kiss, we walked our way through Lincoln Park over to the infamous South Pond bridge. Here, they popped a bottle of champagne and toasted with Stans Donuts Chicago. The only thing sweeter than that combo was the happiness absolutely radiating from the newlyweds. ⁠⁠
