The Hopper Family’s Story
I’ve enjoyed working with the Hopper family over the last year, and documenting their journey has been an absolute delight. They opted for the “Newborn through One-Year” package, which let us plan multiple sessions to capture some of their most meaningful milestones.
We started with baby Cameron’s newborn session just days after they brought him home. A calm sense of love mixed with excitement and newness filled their home—every detail of that session reflected their transition into parenthood. From tiny fingers wrapped around Mom’s hand to Dad rocking Cameron to sleep, those photos tell the story of a family growing together.
A few months later, I revisited the Hopper home for a holiday session (just in time for holiday cards!). They wanted to celebrate Cameron’s first Christmas with a cozy, in-home shoot. Seeing how much he had grown in just a few months was incredible. He was wide-eyed, curious, and already full of personality. We captured him giggling in his festive pajamas and snuggling with his parents by the tree.
I’m thrilled to be returning this summer to photograph Cameron again. He’s no longer that sleepy newborn or tiny infant in holiday PJs. Now, he’s crawling, exploring, and showing off his big smile. Watching him grow has been such a privilege, and the Hopper family now has a collection of photos that tell their story—from bringing him home to his first holidays to his first year of life.
